Overview & Aims
The Master in International Management MIEX is promoted by Faculty of Economics and by the ICRIM – International Center of Research in International Management and it is a double degree in collaboration with ICN Business School of Nancy.
The innovative MIEX programme aims to fully prepare the students for the international business world through courses of study tailored to company requirements. Close collaboration with companies working in a chosen field forms an essential facet of the programme, making sure that the participants develop exactly the right skills needed to work proactively in international management.
MIEX has forged links with an impressive network of firms both to elaborate the course and to help provide the students with first-hand access to the international business world during the Field Work Project at the end of Study Year 1 and the Project Work at the end of Year 2. Fast-Track One-Year Students carry out an International Internship at the end of their year.
Perspective Students
The Master participants may have various backgrounds (in Agriculture, Biotechnology, Industrial Chemistry, Information Technology, Economics and Management, Engineering, Foreign Languages, Law, Literature and Philosophy, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Political Sciences, Chemistry, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics) but a common good command of the English language (both oral and written).
Good knowledge of a second language (beyond mother tongue) among Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, is considered as a preferential admission criterion.
The potential candidates should be interested in international career developments.
Practical Work Activities
MIEX International Executives, Master in International Management represents a course of study, which apart from the theoretical training also aims at delivering practical competence.
Therefore, an important part of the course is dedicated to practical work experience. Every participant depending on her/his educational path (Fast Track or Two Years Programme) takes part in a practical activity where he/she is confronted with problems related to the internationalisation process of a company. A first practical activity takes place in the last part of Study Year 1 as a Field Work where participants joined groups focused on a work assignment designed and coached by partner firms. A second practical activity takes place in the Second Semester of Study Year 2 as a Project Work. The topic of the project work is drafted together with the host company, and the participant can thereby directly contribute to the development of the company´s internationalisation process.
Tuition Fees & Selection criteria
The tuition fee for students is € 7,000.00.
Selection criteria
The selection process for admission to MIEX is based on the materials received. The Applicant will receive a written communication regarding his/her definitive admission to Master Miex.
